Sanshou kickboxing is the distillation of Chinese kung fu into a kickboxing-style fighting system. It incorporates intense cardiovascular workouts, fighting techniques, throws, and sparring into a complete combat system. The class is more intense cardio-wise than the kung fu and tai chi classes, but it's an excellent way to get fit and test your skills at defending yourself.
